What We Believe
We believe that there is ONE God revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(John 14:7-14, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 14:12, John 16:5-15)
We believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross, and was raised from the dead on the third day.
(John 1:14, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Luke 23:33, 1 Peter 15:3-4)
We believe that all people are created in God’s image which means they are fearfully and wonderfully made. We also believe that all people have sinned and are in need of God’s free gift of grace.
(Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:14, Romans 1:17, Romans 3:21-25, Romans 6:23)
We believe that God loves all people and desires for all people to know Christ as Savior.
(John 3:16-17, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 10:13)
We believe that a person is saved by grace alone, which comes through saving faith in Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6)
We believe that the scriptures are the divinely inspired word of God. The scriptures are authoritative; therefore, we rely on them as the basis for our beliefs and as a guide for daily living.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17, Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12)
We believe that the local church is comprised of baptized believers. Each believer brings a unique gift and talent for service in the local church for the glory of God. Christ is the head of the church.
(Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
